I witness.....
with my own naked eyes
the battle between life and death
like the fish along the shore
barely able to breathe
gasping for air
begging for life
struggling to live
please.....
leave the nature alone
let her free
let her live
for her beauty
needs to be preserved
wake up!!
show that you care
show that you love
ignorant is.....
not at all an excuse.

  1. Does nature beg anyone for a life, Venus...even when its violated....it has great tolerance, offering lessons for us to take in life :)

    btw, 'gasp' has another meaning, Venus...read comment section at Janice's post (at the one before the latest - Salmonberry flower) -- she has a given a good meaning to it :)

  2. Hi Venus:)

    Another great post in continuance of the previous one. This one has no painting but come to think of it, you have painted some pictures with lovely words. In fact there are more word pictures than the previous post.

    From the second line onwards up to the eighth line you have painted seven gorgeous pictures such as naked eyes,battle between life and death,fish along the shore and so on.

    Amazing poem loaded with instruction to people who wantonly destroy nature, for people to understand the necessity of preserving nature for our welfare, happiness, and the safety and security of our children in future.

    I enjoyed your lovely way of presenting important messages with beautiful word pictures. This is a special talent and needs amazing skill and imagination.

    Have a lovely day Venus:)

  3. Hi Venus:)

    I had actually posted a comment on this post earlier but when I checked it now I don’t find the comment.

    Anyway it is a great pleasure to write again and it may vary from what I wrote earlier.

    I felt that this post is a continuation of your previous post regarding the necessity of protecting nature from wanton destruction.

    Although this poem has no picture, you have drawn beautiful pictures with your lovely words. Starting with line 2 to line 8 , each line is a picture with amazing clarity and lucidity. For instance, naked eyes, battle between life and death, fish lying along the shore, barely able to breathe, gasping for air etc. are amazing pictures of scary reality facing us today.

    This poem is loaded with valuable advice and important instructions to save nature to ensure our own safety and the safety of our children who will have to live in this world after we are gone. We have a responsibility to leave a good, clean, healthy atmosphere for our children.

    Many, many thanks for these words of wisdom.

    Have a lovely day Venus:)

  4. Thank goodness nature can sometimes correct the damage we humans place on her - sadly this is not always the case and the last 2 lines say it all...
