The first Hindu glass temple in the world- Arulmigu Sri Raja Kaliamman Temple in Johore Bahru, Malaysia

Today (27th. Sept. 2009), my family and I visited the first Hindu glass temple in the world.. Beautifully built. Just no words to describe. I am truly glad to share some pictures I have snapped. Please click on the pics to get better view.

The light of love

The light of love is.....
but beyond everything
it is the light of God
as God is love
love is beautiful
if....
we loved with a love
that was more than love.

A hidden mystery

The virtue of 'sweetness'

Words are effective when truth is combined with sweetness.
It is usually believed that when we speak the truth, we need to be frank and out spoken. And with this attitude we sometimes tend to become harsh in our words too. We believe that only when we are assertive in this way, will our words be effective. But practically it is found that when our words are without sweetness we find only temporary results.
In order to have lasting effect when we have to give correction to someone we need to take care that there is sweetness in our attitude and voice too. Only then will there be desired effect in the words that we speak and we will find the person bringing about change in herself/himself.

The attachment of the petals
makes the rose looks beautiful
though detachment is certain
cherish the moments of attachment

lets detachment takes place
when the time comes.

In Harmony

" To understand others is to be in harmony with them."

Sometimes we expect others to have the same level of qualities or understanding as we have. We are not able to accept or understand the other person's behaviour or words if they are different. Thus we form an attitude towards the person and we are not able to get along well. All we have to do is, we need to recognize the fact that like the musical notes, we are all different. Only when we harmonize together can we create a beautiful tune in life. We shall then not expect the other person to change according to us but will learn to understand and blend our personality with that person. In the process, we shall make ourself 'more' than we are and so will the other person.

The journey of life
to the destination
is not always a bed of roses
is not always a fragrance of love
is not always a world of happiness
at times.....
it is a bed of thorns
it is a filthy of hate
it is a world of sadness
finally.....
once you reach the destination
do realize.....
all those are lessons in life
that teach us the value of life
the journey to the destination
is more like a precious story
that cannot be forgotten
The story is in the journey,
not the destination.
